I think that 7 - 5 prediction could turn into an 8 - 4 with an upset.

Uh 7-5 would be a solid year depending on what JF is able to do. We will see. There is a lot still up in the air to make predictions this early. Most of all KL.

I agree with the 7-5 or 6-6 range, but .... how sweet would it be to beat Fat Joe in his last game ever at Ross Ade? If a couple more of his players get picked up shoplifting condoms from grocery stores, his talent pool could get pretty thin. We gripe about the low character of Sampson's recruits, but as a Tippecanoe Co. resident, believe me - until you've had to live around Fat Joe's 'kids' you ain't seen nothin'.

Does anyone out there actually believe that if James Hardy had come back for his 5th year we would (or at least should ) go undefended this year. Last years schedule was the biggest cake walk I have seen in 15 years, and to tell the truth there were the good times, but the season was filled with more letdowns. Penn State, Northwestern, and Illinois were our game we let go!!! Then this year's schedule came out and I was like "O my god". This is the biggest lay down schedule I have ever seen the Indiana Football program play. Only four road games that we should win, and four extermly weak non-conference games. No Michigan and no Ohio State, are you kidding me!!!! Unless Kellen Lewis does not play this year losing one game would be a disappointment, and two games I would almost consider it a failure. I believe half the problem is the fans and it trickles down to the team does not have this kind of confidence. I do and I believe in our team!!! Without Kellen we may go 7-5 or 8-4. With Kellen and our returning team I have the confidence to say WE WILL GO 12-0 and go to the Rose Bowl. We'll take our ass whopping by USC like men and our clean football program will continue to grow, and get back to days of the Anthony Thompson and Trent Green when we could compete with Michigan and Ohio State.

Kurt, I happen to be an unfortunate resident of Tippecanoe county also, formerly in West Lafayette. You are right the attitudes in this town is messed up. It doesn't give you that home feel. I have always been greeted in Bloomington with a warm reception.
I can not wait to Kick Purdue's ass on their home field this year. These people in this town and that damn football program make me sick..... Go Hoosier's Football!!!!!!!!!

PS I can not wait to see some of these poor sport losers cry again this year!!!!

Dear Jack-Arse,

Put down the crack pipe. No, I reapeat, zero chance the Hoosier-daddy beats Purdue. Last year was a fluke, and an emotional game to honor Hep. But the dream is over...back to the bottom you go. Hope you and Northworse become best buddies. LOL.

The schedule is set up so we can get wins and get to bowls. After over a decade of failure, that is what we needed. In 09, we play OSU, Michigan, and South Florida (in Bloomington). It should be interesting to see the continuing development of the program.

Whow!!!! I did not Know we play South Florida next year... At least it is at home!!!! I knew Michigan and Ohio State and yes I'll be ready to take an A** whopping if they can dish us out one like usual. I am proud of our team even though the let down this year. Hi expectations and pressure did not help. But, Northwestern was good and I believe we are doing great to fight through these injuries. Go Hoosiers !!!Fight!! Fight!! Fight!!!
