Yes, Bob De Carolis is one of the prominent names we've heard from more than one (OK, probably more than five) sources. If I had to say at this moment who I thought would be moving into the office vacated by Rick Greenspan, it'd be De Carolis, who is currently the AD at Oregon State (where he worked under, then replaced, current Kentucky AD Mitch Barnhart).

De Carolis is also the guy who beat out McNeely & IU for Mike Riley's services. Small world.

Yes Bob De Carolis is one of them. If IU can land this guy it would be a great hire. Just do the research on Oregon State athletics under this guy. They are truly a great program and this guy can hire high profile coaches and that is what we need for our ailing football program. He also knows how to raise money and keep the athletic budgets in the black. I would definitely support the hiring of Mr. De Carolis.
