Parking for MSU - IU Game on Saturday

IU Fans - Greetings, I will be in Bloomington on Saturday to watch the MSU - IU Football Game. I have never been to your campus, but I understand that it is beautiful - everything a college campus should be. I am bringing my 16-year old son to the game with me - I promised him that we would attend a game in each Big Ten Stadium together and this weekend we will come to IU (I am an MSU grad and a season ticket holder for Football & Basketball - we have been to Penn State, Ohio State, Michigan, Purdue, Wisconsin, Northwestern and Notre Dame - where we are 3 - 0!). I would love to park near Memorial Stadium - I am thinking Blue Lot - and I am wondering how I can purchase a parking pass to that location. Don't worry - we are not obnoxious and we understand that we are guests in 'your house'. Also, what are the restrictions about cameras in the Stadium? Any other insights? What time shoud we ge onto the campus? What are the other sights to see?

All of the parking lots are very close to the stadium, so as long as you get there a few hours early, you should get a pretty good spot. The best (but rowdiest) tailgate lot is just south and right across the street from the stadium. It is a grass lot with lots of trees. If you don't want to park there, you can park in the blue, green, and purple lots without a pass (you do have to pay though).

The blue lot next to Assembly Hall has a large amount of spaces missing due to construction of our basketball practice facility (we're also renovating Memorial Stadium, but there are no parking issues involved with that project). So, keep that in mind.

The team walks to the stadium at 9:45 (east side of the stadium, next to Assembly Hall) and that is always fun. Since it is an early game, take some time after the game to walk around campus (south of the stadium).
